June 20, 2010 – On the ropes in Myrtle Beach
Ropes courses may be scary, but they can also be fun. That’s according to one 8-year-old after 30 minutes of climbing on Broadway at the Beach’s Soar and Explore ropes course.
“They say it looks scary, but I’m happy to let him conquer his fears,” father Doug Colescott said, while watching his three sons climb the three-story beamed structure. His 8-year-old managed to climb to the second level before coming down.

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Summer vacation has just started and Eric and Andrea Hanson’s three kids have already reached the ends of their rope. That’s OK, they’ll just turn and walk another portion of Hey Day Family Fun Center’s ropes course, which is laid out 12 feet above the facility’s floor.

May 28, 2010 – Myrtle Beach ropes course to open at Broadway at the Beach
Myrtle Beach’s first ropes challenge course is expected to debut today at Broadway at the Beach.
The pirate-themed attraction is 40 feet tall and has 33 “elements” that adventure seekers will maneuver over, under and through, including a tremor bridge, vertical angle stairs, swinging steps and a tightrope walk. The course, near Tripps Restaurant, extends over the lake at Broadway.

April 1, 2010 – Dollywood Adventure: New Attraction Opens
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. – Dressed as a park ranger, Dolly Parton stood with a whistle in her mouth as she launched the new Adventure Mountain attraction at Dollywood on a rainy Friday afternoon.
Adventure Mountain is not a ride; it’s a challenge course. Participants fasten themselves to a harness, pull on ropes and tug on ladders.
